If you washed the engine bay theres a chance you may have got water into the spark plugs or on the distrubutor, remove dizzy cap and remove water from the underside, sum crc products work well at this. usually after the engine gets hot it will evaporate the water away, I hope you don't have an exposed air filter, this could also be wet causing starvation. sum more info would be helpful

Check ignition coil, they are known to short circuit after a wash.
Try starting engine at night or in the dark and look around coil and leads for hi voltage sparks.
