mcdevito75 here, Follow each steel line , the one that goes into the firewall is the 1 you need find the port on that tube and recharge your A/C, plus your rechrage kit should only fit this port. Chargeing port may be covered with a brass like cap un screw and there"s the port.
Actually pull out the radio fuse for 15 seconds and then re-install. Mine usta just quit working once in a great while, and this was the fix. Radio fuse #42 if this is a "New Jetta A4 body" or fuse # 22 on an older "A3 body style"
I don't know about the alarm issue - having one of those myself. But for the air conditioning - it sounds to me like it needs to be recharged. They can do that at most service station/oil change places.
