My door locks don't work half the time when pushing the lock button or even on the key alarm remote. I hear it trying but doesn't lock.

I would have the body control module checked at your local repair shop. Sometimes the system has to be reset by the dealer.

Mike, Check all fuses and relays, switch relay for known good working one, just to test the circuit and replace relay if circuit works. The SBI (simple bus interface) controls a lot of components in your vehicle including pwr seats and pwr locks. I believe the location is under the driver seat. A lot of forums talk about how the connections and grounds get corroded from dampness and cause this problem.
Check the attached links, instruction and guides, forums have a lot of info. on this problem, Good luck.

no connection of the two, start by checking switch for heated seat, if power is there and switch is good then heating element is probaly bad,the lock could be linkage jam or lock acuator, good luck.

Most likely you have a bad TWICE unit. it is located under the driver's seat, at a low point in the floor and often gets wet.

Central door lock on '95 Jeep Cherokee doesn't work. When door switch is used a click is heard but lock doesn't function. Electric seat on same fuse functions.

you need to lube up your locks a lot. Use liberal amounts of lube and work it in while using the manual lock/unlock on the door. Keep it up until it's easy to move with the manual lock/unlock.
