Humming noise from back end of 2006 malibu

It may be a fuel pump makes noise. My suggestion is have shop listen to the noise as this is very hard to diagnose over a computer keyboard without hearing it.

2006 Chevy Malibu power mirror fuse

On the right front of the center console, remove the panel directly next to the floor. It is marked with a fuse symbol. It has a velcro pad behind the "O" marking near the front. Just pull on the end with the "O" marking. once the panel is removed, fuses are identified on the back. Power Mirror = 2a fuse in the front upper of the panel.

Where is thermostat located in a 2006 Chevy Malibu LT, 6cyl 3.5 L?

normally thermostats are located at the end of where the top radiator hose connects to the intake manifold, there should be at least 2 -3 bolts holding the thermostat housing on, radiator will have to be drained low enough in order to remove the hose, and housing. and thermostat, and gasket.

We're having a popping sound in the steering in my 2006 malibu maxx hatchback ? Is there a recall . Please help

i just bought a 2005 malibu maxx from a dealership. It was having a popping sound when i would turn the wheel back and forth. Had the dealership fix it. THEY said they replaced the ( rack and pinion ) for the steering on the car. Don't think there is a recall on that. GM had a lot of problems with that popping noise on their malibu maxx. Hope that might help.

I have a clicking sound in the front steering everytime I turn the wheels from left to right, the problem started at 40,000 miles. The car is a Chevrolet Malibu LT V6 2006. I have heard the electriacal...

check the tie rod ends see if one is bent this cause clicking cause hitting other stuff and maybe the steering lock mechanism not fully disengaging

Vehicle will no longer start without the engine shutting down.

open hood sorry its been a long day , on most cars they have a diagram of the hose routing on the hood or the deck of the front end if you can not find it you can go to your auto parts store and get a book on your car.

THE POWER STEERING LOCKS AND IT IS SO HARD TO TURN HOW MUCH WILL THIS COST TO FIX. 2006 CHEVY MALIBU

The power steering is electric. There is no pump and no fluid to check. Most people end up with a new steering column installed. The electronic steering is what helps the car get such great gas mileage though. This is a big problem with these cars and you need to take it to the dealer. Hopefully GM is on there way with a recall. If they dont do something i will never buy another gm product again!

There is a fuse box located in the trunk on the drivers side. Remove the panel and the fuse is #20..also a 20 AMP fuse.
