I have a 2005 Chevy Impala and the check engine light just came on what should I do?

Take it to a place like Auto Zone and they will hook up their computer to it and tell you what the fault code is for free. Most common is a misfire which would indicate new plugs or wires.

What does it mean when the check engine light comes on

It means that there is a problem with the engine emission controls. A special Code Reader is required to find the problem. If you have an Advance Auto, Pep Boys or Auto Zone in your area, they will be glad to check it for free. Some Parts Stores also.

How can i reset de computer of the impala?

i am guessing that you want to reset a code or shut off the check eng light.
if it is a newer model impala like 1997 or newer, you have the new style OBD set up, easiest thing to do is take the car to an auto zone or advanced auto and they will reset your computer for FREE with a handheld device that communicates with the cars computer.

03 implana dying on me after my message center lights flash

If there is a Auto Zone around your area, have then scan the car for the DTC codes that the check engine light is indicating. Auto Zone scan free of charge and can give you the recommendation to address the issue the car's computer has detected. The other reason that the car has stalled at you is the fuel filter may be at the end of it's life and may need to be replaced. The fuel filter should be replaced every 15,000 miles or once a year to ensure that your fuel system is trouble free. You did mentioned that the low battery light came on which would indicate that the alternator's voltage regulator or rectifier may have gone bad and it's time to replace the alternator which the check engine light may be indicating in it's DTC history. Good luck and keep me posted, be glad to help you get your car running 100% again soon.
