Question about 2000 Ford Contour
It is not it is right above the sub frame next the firwall and can not hardly get to it., I should have took pictures i have removed the plactic covers from the wheel well the ones that cover the belt and pulley area and you can see it and it possibly will come out that way but it appears the sway bar bolt will have to be removed and possiby the axle shaft I was just trying to get a more percise procedure , as to not remove unnecessay items.
I JUST REPLACED MY ALTERNATOR YOU HAVE TO TAKE THE PASSENGER SIDE TIRE OFF AS WELL AS THE TIE ROD END. THERE ARE 2 BOLTS ONE ON TOP THAT YOU WILL MOST LIKELY HAVE TO SIT ON THE ENGINE TO GET TO WHICH MY BOYFRIEND FOUND HELPFUL. THE OTHER ONE IS EASIER TO GET TO FROM THE BOTTOM YOU WILL NEED A SOCKET WRENCH AND 2 SOCKETS A 10 AND A 13 I THINK.
