Question about 2006 Nissan Sentra

Nissan sentra 2006 GS automatic

The check engine sign is on and my engine experiences an erratic idle most of the time but sometimes it has a normal idle. whenever i ryn with an rpm above 1,500 the engine is performing well. the engine usually turns off after a sudden stop and you can feel like it runs out of air or electricity but you can start the engine easily in one click. if the engine is cold the check engine is off but turns on after 30 seconds of engine running then the problem occurs. it's really hard to handle the car especially during traffic and when the a/c is on because it easily turns off the engine. from neutral to drive in a traffic you can usually experience an engine failure and you have to start again. we already replaced the crank and cam sensors, replaced the 4 coils but same problem exist. we used a computer twice to scan te problem and the finding is "ignition switch - primary". please help me how to deal with the problem

Have you tried replacing your mass air sensor? I have notice that whenever i turn my a/c on the idle goes down... what i know is that the idle should step up to compensate right? the engine easily turns off whenever i uses my a/c..... the mechanic still doesn't know how to deal with this....

My nissan sentra 1987 stops, stalls and cuts off engine

Engine stall or RPM fluctuates at idle.

This problem is commonly caused by a dirty automatic idle speed control valve and throttle valve. Buy a can of throttle valve cleaner (do not use carburetor spray cleaner!) from NAPA or Carquest (made by CRC chemicals) and spray it into the air intake while the engine is running, use up about 1/2 the can, engine will try to stall hold the speed up, shut it down and let it soak for 30 minutes, restart and blow out the remaining fluid, shut it down and disconnect the negative battery cable for 5 Min's to reset the base idle control

How do I set the timming on a 1400 Nissan sentra 1998 model

This is for a 1998 nissan sentra 1.4 engine, start engine and allow to reach operating temp.then turn engine off and disconnect throtle postion sensor connector.

With tps sensor disconnected start engine and increase idle to 2000 rpm three times then release and allow it to idle.

now check timing, timing should be at 6-10 degrees BTDC. adjust as needed then turn key off and reconnect tps .

Have 1987 nissan sentra wagon 1.6 carb.engine the problem is an idle problem when I start in the morning or when its had time to cool down I depress the accelorator pedel to set the choke and high idle cam...

Check your Ignition timing before anything
check your plugs see what color they are
red or orange means carb is to lean , black
or oil means to rich then you can go from there
and set mixture screws on carb , let me no how you make out .

Code of p1148 on 2006 nissan sentra

Have you cleared the codes at least once?
The new o2 sensors should have removed all those codes. The sensor closest to the engine b1s1 may be defective.Check wiring and plug to that one closely.
