Question about 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee

1 Answer

I have a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The car not starting is a random problem. When I turn the key on the lights go on but nothing happens as far as starting. I do not hear any sound at all. After $1,00 fix, the dealership changed a module that the starter goes through,it happened again. They said everything checks out fine as far as the battery, starter and electrical system. HELP

Will not start at random times, starter does not crank or turn over

Check your battery to make sure it has at least 12 volts then check the battery cables for corrosion or poor connection if all checks out ok then the starter solenoid is the problem.

You have a bad auto headlamp sensor. It is located in the defroster vent area at the base of the front windshiel. See this link for help in removal and repair. http://www.wjjeeps.com/lamps/headlamps.htm#SENSOR
