What motor is in a 86 cutlass supreme 4dr sedan

The Cutlass Supreme came stock with 3 different engines. A 3.8L v6 235 ci,.. A 5.0L v8 305 ci... A 5.0L 307 ci. Then the Brougham had 2 different stock engines. the 3.8L v6 235ci. .. and the 5.0L v8 307 ci. Hope this helps. The v6 will have only 6 spark plugs. The 305 is a Chevy (GM) engine and the 307 is an Olds. engine. The 307 has a different looking flange on the exhaust manifold to head mount to help identify it or diff. it from the chevy (GM) engine.
