Question about Mazda 323

1984 Mazda 323 when I accelerates a squealing noise happens , when I take foot of the accelerator it stops, doesnt happen all the time

    Alternator belt ok, still getting squealing noise when accelerating, take foot off it stops, its ok again at the mo, so doesnt happen all the time

    my problem is also the same but it sounds to me more like a grinding metal sound.

    I have the same problem and have gone through 4 belts as they keep snaping, when its cold or wet it squeals alot more.

First thing to check would be, is alternator belt tight enough?

You are a front wheel drive all traction is in the front,either you are overeving which is a transmission slip,if you say you loose power when accelerating you are describing a plug air filter and even a plug catalytic

Mazda 323 fuel injection1994 accelerator problem


Try changing the fuel filter. If it clogs up the engine won't get the fuel it needs to run at wide throttle openings, the engine will ****** the timing, and you'll lose power. With less throttle the filter can flow well enough for the engine to run properly.

Bmw 323 1996 just lacks power, surges as you yake


Possible clogged fuel filter, faulty ignition system (ie. plugs and wires) faulty injectors. Start with the fuel filter. Good Luck

Presuming that the coolant level is good,,, if it happens more in stop and go or while idling, check the electric cooling fan operation. If it happens more while going down the road or after hard accelerations, check the head gaskets

worn piston rings produce blue smoke all the time especially under acceleration. time for another rebuild or total replacement.. i am not very familiar with metric but thet is still a lot of miles, replace the rings, or replace the engine, or replace the car. it sounds like it is well worn

There is a high pitched squealing noise on the passenger side


this is a bad belt. i would replace the belts this will fix the squeal. check the pulleys as well.
