Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome to the site. Jeep Liberty electric fuel pumps are almost always located inside the fuel tank, but there are some vehicles where the pump may be located along the frame rail or mounted to the body near the fuel tank. It can be done by yourself but when it is in the tank, it is not an easy job. You will have to take the tank off to get to the fuel pump.

2004 Jeep Liberty. No Start. Does anyone have any ideas?

That is a whole lot of issues that needs an auto electrician and a pro grade scan tool computer. We have a pro electrician here @Jeff Armer and hopefully he will chime in. Sounds like a communication issue with BCM and ECM which I think is combined into a TIPM.

My 02 jeep liberty isn't getting power to the fuel pump as well as my fuel Gauge doesn't work with the key o. Haven't been able to get it started in week now??? What could this be???????

Did you check all the fuses? Sounds like you have no power to the fuel pump if you worked on it recently, make sure there is no ground wire unhooked. Any ground wire could cause this problem. Locate the fuel pump relay. Switch it with a known good relay.

How do i drain deisel fuel from my 04 liberty?

Hi, I would get a syphen hose and fish it in to the tank and drain it out that way. Anouther way is to use the fuel pump to pump it out. Connect a hose to fuel line. Use caution when doing this. (high pressure) 60 to 80 psi.

Is it common in 2004 jeep libertys to have the fuel pump go out? I am replacing mine for the 2nd time in 2 months

No, it is not common for fuel pumps to fail. But if you get into the habit of driving the Jeep when the low fuel indicator lights up, it will cause the pump to overheat and fail prematurely over time.
