Question about 2002 Dodge Neon
Not difficult to do. I had to do this for my 2002 neon. Go to your local parts store and buy a "power steering pressure switch"...should be around 20-25 dollars. It's located under the car near the driver side of the steering rack. All you need to do is unplug the wire, then use a 7/8" deep socket to remove the old switch. When installing the new one, use teflon thread seal tape on the threads and tighten snug but not too tight. Plug the wire back in and you're done. Afterwards, start the car and turn the wheel lock to lock a few times, then check for any leaking (the sensor itself can be seen from under the hood...look down behind the motor with a flashlight). Make sure the power steering fluid is at the correct level afterwards too. Good luck.
