SOURCE: I have a 2005 Mazda 6 and the display keeps

You know i did a search and found it may be a fuse so I checked under the hood of my Mz 6 and replaced my horn fuse (15A) with my room 15A fuse and now my display is working. I was told it has to do with the temperature outside. And it has been cold, mine worked fine all summer.

SOURCE: 2005 Mazda 6 2.3 Engine.I've replaced the

Hi,

I am sorry for the trouble.

This is a common problem on Mazda.

Have you inspected the connector to the alternator?

I often find the problem to be there.
You may try wiggling the connector while watching the alternator output to see if it affects it.The alternator is controlled by the powertrain control module (PCM). So I would have someone hook up a scan tool and check the PCM for codes.

Be advised that IT COULD HAVE A CODE STORED, AND NOT TURN THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON.

But, I would wiggle test the connector at the alternator first. I really thing the problem is there.

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

I have a 2005 mazda 6. The brake lights do not work. I changed the brake light switch and they still do not work. Suggestions?

check the fuse, check each brake light individually to see if they work. try a couple of wires from the battery to the lights to check them out. and finally, make sure brake light switch on pedal is adjusted properly so a slightly depressed pedal activates the circuit.

Petrol guage sticking. when refualing guage sits just above empty and warning light stays on.

The float inside the gas tank is probably "soaked" and doesn't float properly anymore. It will have to be replaced to get the gauge to work properly.
