Question about 1997 Ford F250 SuperCab
From what your explaining the housing the filter screws on to two types bolted unit wich there is a gasket in between block and plate or another style is held with only the threaded piece that the filter screws on to it usaully has a area where a wrench can fit unscrew the hole shaft replace gasket behind the housing one other problem i have seen were somone had changed a oil filter not relizing the gasket stayed on the housing check to make sure there isnt two gaskets only one on the filter
