Question about 1996 Nissan Maxima

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome to the site. Sounds like you may have a clogged fuel filter or a bad fuel injector. You need to make sure the air filter is not clogged and search for vacuum leaks on the engine. If it dies throughout the driving range and at stops, it could be a map sensor. You need to test for fuel pressure and make sure it is correct. If the fuel checks out, it may be a spark plug/coil, distributor cap, coil pack, something in the ignition system. You need to also check your pcv valve, it may need changed.
