Question about 1996 Lexus ES 300
Hi, if the check engine light is on. That means the computer has detected a
problem with the fuel delivery system. The most common cause is a bad
sensor. Before taking it to a garage, have your husband check to be
sure that none of the sensors are unplugged. It's possible that one of
the wires came loose or is corroded. Also have him check for soft,
broken or unplugged vacuum hoses. If the visible check is OK, a
computer scan will have to be performed to find out what the problem
is. You can drive it to Auto Zone and they'll check the codes for you.
