The side-view mirrors on your car should have their own fuse, labeled sdvwmr, or something along those lines, and will be located in the fuse panel that is in the car's cabin area, not under the hood.

Look under the drivers side dashboard that is righthand drive there is a socket to put in a code reader meter... the fuses are there on my 02 .good luck

Side mirrow fuse localtion for 2001 chevrolet tayhoe


Should be fuse #38 in the under hood box.
Pretty large black box, easy to access, on the Driver side.
Pull the top off and expose all your fuses. Under the cover of the black box, you will find different fuse locations and numbers.
In your Owners Manual, you should be able to confirm my findings.

If you are talking about the side mirrow they are for the electric motor that adjust the mirrow. Also most are heated and you need wires for that.

sounds like you blew a fuse, check all fuses, that should be your problem. good luck.
