Thank you for the advise on aquiring a seat belt. But, what I need to know an see is the removal and installation of the belt from the seat!! Again it is in a 2004 2500HD chev. Silverado, drivers seat with intigrated seat belt.

belt receiver for the drivers side is broken. Can the "female" receiver be replaced, or does the entire belt need to be replaced. Also, this has the middle passengers belt included in the drivers side receiver belt.

A safety item like a seatbelt is nothing to take chances on.
I would suggest contacting a dealer for a replacement part, or you can try a local wrecking yard. Look for one that would not have put the seatbelt in a stress situation, if the airbag is intact, odds are the seatbelt never was stressed.
Besides the Pickups, the suburbans use the same seatbelt assembly.
I would highly recommend against using any aftermarket belts in this application.

Another point is, why does your belt need replacement? Was it pulled out too far? Was the vehicle in an accident? Was the belt damaged somehow? (like a dog chewtoy) Or something else?

You can get a new one from your dealer or can go to www.car-parts.com and find a salvage yard near you where you can get one. If you give me your zip code. I can look up the number of the nearest dealer but they are probably closed right now

let me know if I can be of any more help

my best to you

Oh, ok, look under the seat and find the triangle shaped clip that is holding the seatbelt on with a bolt. It should be there. Take off the bolt (it will be metric, most likely 13 or 15 mm). Remove the clip and replace it with the new one and thread the belt back the way it goes. This is for the side with the button.

Thinking that it may be the other side, you will need to remove the seat cover which is attached at the bottom of the seat also, underneath. After removing it, you should have access to everything else that you need. Let me know if you have trouble finding something or getting stuck

If you feel this rattle while driving at low speed or turning at low speed it is likely a worn out steering shaft coupler, it is very common.

04 chev. 1500 fuel tank will not take gas, gas

Evap vent solenoide is stuck closed. Start by replacing the valve and checking the hose to the valve for clogs...this is located between the cab of the truck and the bed of the truck on the driver side (can be seen if you look down through the crack)....If this doesn't work then check the fuel filler neck hose for kink or restriction this is the hose that goes from the gas cap to the fuel tank.

Bucket seats with driver 1 and 2 memory and also seat warmer oh and the seat warmer does not work ever since.

Hi I'm not to clued up on 2004 silverado 1500 LT crew cab, obviously you'll check the fuse box & even replace the fuse wouldn't hurt giving it a try. Also try checking the electric motor for the seat. No cables lose or broken? Nothing jamming the seat? Is there any sound at all coming from the area where all the electrics are under the seat? Can you hear a motor straining?Just a few thoughts. Good luck
