I have a v90. The passenger seat got stuck all the way back. The driver seat is beginning to act the same way (The right side motor either quits or acts erratically).

Need to replace one of the two cables for forward and backwad. The tiny gear inside already worn out. However need to take out whole seat to do replacement.

If you mean the passenger seat, the control switch needs to be cleaned with an electronic spray contact cleaner.

On ABS light most common problem is ABS control module , they failing left and right.
As for the seat adjustment , sound like you need a new seat switch.

the problem is you drive cable are striped at time only one side moves or nothing you will have to take out seat buy new drive cabels and replace them it will be hard to remove seat if is stuck in wrong position this job is for volvo dealer if you make misstake you can damage motors or gears and the items very expensive vs just cable

Power seat problem

There is not a way to manually adjust the seats, and in order to repair your stated issue, I will agree with you, it sounds like a cable issue. problem is, you have to time the cables, so that they will not continue to operate in a twisted state.

Instructions to remove Driver Seat and replace the drive cables for the seat movement.

You need to remove the 4 nuts underneath the seat and take the seat out to replace the cable. usually the metal strip inside the cable has tiny line groves at both ends. This will wear off over the years.

Trying too move automatic seat forward again/ only left side move

the seat adjustment motor which is mounted in the foward part of the lower shroud of the seat has two drive worm gears which are made of a heavy coiled spring if either one of these become loose or the drive portion becomes damaged that side of the seat wont drive in either direction

you will need to check to make sure no coins fell into the track and is jammed it if not you will need to replace the bottom frame of the seat possible with a junk yard one much cheaper than buying new and junkyard frames come complete.
