Ussually the fuse is in the aerial motor connector or comes with the radio fuse.
If ur annoyed by the antenna, just disconnect the electrical connector in the antenna, not the antenna wire!

U could buy the rod of the antenna only it is chepaer than buying the whole assembly!

Order it in ur nearest parts dealer!

Can anyone please tell me where the electric aerial fuse is for a Nissan Terrano 1996?

i dont think there is one, put it takes a signal from the radio. in order to solve this, you have to go where the power antenna is located and disconnect the wiring, you will see blue and green wires. you're power antenna is jam. and make sure you insulate the wires after clipping them.

Hi Carmelogo, It would sure help to know more about your problem. First question is what car is it? Secondly when you say it makes electrical sound, what do you mean? Is the starter motor turning, and if so, is it tuning too slowly or just clicking? If it's any of the those I would suggest cleaning the battery terminals, especially if it fails when jumped. If the terminals are oxidized they will need to be removed from the battery and cleaned or maybe even replaced. If the vehicle then starts with a jump and later fails after taking it for a run replace the battery

Our volvo 850 makes an terrible loud grinding noise coming from front passenger side. Cannot pinpoint when the noise is made as it seems to happen at any time but is more persistent after turning full lock...

Hi! The problem will be the constant velocity joint on the driver's side. When its worn it makes a noise on turns specially when putting it back to straight direction. Have it replaced and you'll be good. HOpe this helps and have a good one!

Electric aerial on 1998 Toyota Celica

The grinding noise means that the gear in the motor slides over the retracting shaft, you will probably need to get a new one.

1999 Toyota Solara Starter or Ignition Switch problem?

Your problem is a faulty starter solenoid relay.
It is staying in the POWER ON position.
The relay is located under the hood near the power distribution panel (fusebox) i believe.
Consult your owners manual or Repair manual for exact location.

Hi Catherine

Yes, should be electric.

As you say, it is either a technical fault in the wiring, or motor, or the mast has a kink from getting bent.( Most usual !)

Before you make your full payment, let them know you want it functioning correctly, and check this is so on collection.

Good Luck ! Nice Car !

A FixYa rating would be appreciated ....Thank You.
