Look under your vehicles hood on the drivers side, and you should see 1 -2 black box's, these have fuses / and relays inside, remove the plastic covers, and there should be information / diagram explaining what they are and where they are located.

    lol i am a little more educated then that !!!! i have read the manual and read all the fuse diagrams can't figure it out what fuse controlls it!!! your answer is noooo help at all !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Suspect 7 pin connector problem , you should have power on the 8pm positioned and the centre pin position as you look into the socket (on vehicle. These pins are both male pins as you look at them . If ok check trailer wiring where it splits for either lamp assy ! Good luck

Where is the flasher module on a 2001 GMC 2500HD durmax diesel?

its probably on the back of the inside fuse panel on the driver side. usually looks like a metal cylinder or a black plastic square box. all it is is a relay. should be easy to find.

the fuse is located in the underhood fuse block. if you remove the cover & turn it over there is a diagram that tells you which fuse is for what.

It would then be a bad ground. Start at the bulb fixtures cleaning and refastening; look for cracked broken wires as you go. A little multimeter will help.

check the fuses under the dash/ sounds like its just the bulbs 194's they just twist out the back side/ Please rate my response thank you very much

License Plate Lights

Probably not... For some reason license plate light wiring and sockets are VERY prone to corrosion. Make sure to check the light sockets and try to get to the wiring close to them, your problem is more than likely very close to the lights.
