It is suppose to reset on its own if the problem is fixed. Every vehicle has a different driving cycle for reseting each code. Give it some time. If the engine light does not go away, you will need to get the engine codes erased by a OBD2 Scanner. U can get that done almost at any automotive parts store, and its free.
