If its diesel 4JX1 its in top cam belt cover cant miss it, sensor is very clearly visible.
if its petrol V6 (6VD1 or 6VE1) its in left head at rear behind inlet manifold
these pictures are for petrol V6, Jackaroo(Trooper) and Holden Rodeo are the same.

make sure connector faces rearwards if not it wont work properly, you can turn it to get it in and out without removing inlet manifold once you remove the retaining bolt 10mm bolt.

Where is the location of the camshaft sensor for 1995 Isuzu Trooper

no engine stated, 4 banger or v6 but same answer.
there is no such sensor until 1996
why not post the problem or a symptom
and ask for help.
like
wont' crank.
cranks but will not start.
starts and stalls.
starts, runs but misfires.
like that.
get a tuneup yet?> (crystal ball)
V6 (guessing yours)
if you meant crank sensor its on the right side of engine block center.

seen here, CKP "crank sensor"
if you look for a CMP on line you will find it
but its Bunk, it's not there, stores mix parts up. et cetra.

2001 isuzu trooper code 1340

Hello,
A 1340 error code for your Isuzu Trooper means that the engine is experiencing a "Camshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction" which would mean the computer isn't exactly sure where the camshaft is located in it's rotation. If the issue is intermittent then look for a broken wire, if it's solid then the sensor needs replacing!
Good Luck & please rate this solution!

1998 Rodeo Transmission Speed Sensor

Hi, I have a trooper also, I am pretty sure if it has a speed sensor it would ;located on the transmission near the tailshaft. Not sure that will help, but mine is a standard, so I can't look for you.
or the transfer case maybe?

You must have #1 on TDC and the camshafts on the timing mark to fit a new belt , I rekon yer valves are fouling the piston .
Ignore the mark on the pump pulley .
