The Front of the dash just pulls off and then the radio has 4 bolts to remove it. I used a flat screw driver to the side to remove mine. If you are changing the size of the radio you can buy dash kits too.

Change the fuse, if it still doesn't work then the circuit can be tested before spending the money on a new radio

This fuse should be in the fuse panel under the das on the left, it's sometimes marked "power outlet".

which model do you have? if its a C or an E then it sounds like your drive authorisation system has failed(DAS) basically the ignition switch. Got to be MB dealer or a specialised MB tech with the right computer. Not cheap either, sorry if its bad news

It's easier to remove the engine if your doing it on the ground but you can remove the far motor mount and tilt it to get the tranny out However it will be a very tight and difficult fit I don't recommend taking on this project if you are not absolutely sure of what you are doing.

RADIO CODE FOR '06 HONDA RIDGELINE

You will need to remove the radio from the das, and get the numbers off the back of it. Then you will need to call a honda dealership with your vin number and the numbers off the back of the radio. they will be able to get the code for it. The reason being, is for security, like if your radio was stolen a thief couldn't just reactivate it without the proper info.
Hope this helps!
