You may have a problem with the temperature blend door motor not working(stuck in closed position)this is located on the passenger side under the dash near another position mode door motor that operates the defrost, vent, floor mode positions.these are known for should get a shop to replace this or dealer as they are not in the easiest location to work on and may have to be programed.

The BCM body control module was bad replaced the part and interior lights, rear defogger, a/c clutch all work now. the part is located under the dash behind the glove box, Note two modules located in same place its the one furthers away from the gbox. The bcm and ecm can be flashed without buying a reman. part but you could end up with other problems, so I went with the reman. part $125.00

2001 XL7 Airconditioning is not working only air not cold.

Is your compressor kicking on? If it is not kicking on chances are that either your compressor is bad, you have a bad switch, or a blown fuse. Another thing to look into is whether or not your A/C unit is fully charged with 134a coolant. If your unit is not fully charged it will not blow out cold air. I hope this helps you out.

Problem with heating and air conditioning. The driver's side is blowing hot air and the passenger side is blowing cold air

Air Conditioner blows warm air
  1. Air conditioner system is discharged. Have the system evacuated, charged and leak tested by an MVAC certified technician, utilizing approved recovery/recycling equipment. Repair as necessary.
  2. Air conditioner compressor clutch not engaging. Check compressor clutch wiring, electrical connections and compressor clutch, and repair or replace as necessary.

Air Conditioning of my Renault Megane is not

Have the driver's door window open and the front bonnet open,
we are going to listen for a clicking noise, the noise that we are listening for is the Compressor engagement being activated after three seconds from the control panel.

Start the engine and switch on the air conditioning by pressing the AC button (with a request for maximum cold temperature and the passenger compartment fan running).

If you hear that clicking noise, then it is most likely that you have a leak from the AC system or a possibly in need of a top up do to service of the system not been carried out.

Otherwise if you don't hear that clicking noise then there is a case that the Compressor clutch is not being engaged.

Do to the following reasons

1. fuse blown in the UPC in other terms the fuse box (engine compartment)

2. AC Compressor faulty

3. AC pressure switch faulty

4. If there is not the slightest bit of pressure left in the system which is very unlikely.

I hope this information was somewhat helpful for a real diagnosis test a diagnostic tool is needed.

Air conditioning is not cold

Probably the refrigerant fluid pressure is too low. You can get an inexpensive (about $20) R-134a recharge kit with pressure gauge from a discount store (Wal-mart) or auto parts store. Follow the instructions. It's worthwhile to try recharging to see if the a/c system will hold a charge, before you spend more money on expensive diagnostics and repairs. Also, you should try to determine whether the A/C compressor is coming on. If it is working you should be able to hear it engaging. Many A/C compressors are designed to not engage if the fluid pressure is too low, so make sure that the pressure on your recharge gauge is at the recommended level. Possibly the compressor fuse may have blown out, so check the compressor fuse in the fusebox under the hood. If the fuse is ok, and the compressor does not come one even after you have recharged the system, this tells you there might be a problem with the compressor. Another possibility is that the A/C switch has gone bad. You will need to access it with a voltmeter to test it. What you hear behind the glove box is the evaporator. Some low-level noise is normal.

Is the compressor engaging? If not he needs to find if a sensor issue if its fully charged or a low pressure or refrigerant condition. You can have pressure without refrigerant.

Air condition is not blowing

Do you mean that the blower isn't running or that it doesn't get cold? Check the fuse box and see if the fuse is blown for the fan. Check any relays as well. Does the fan work with the heater on? If it is not getting cold it could be low on refrigerant and the system needs charged. Anyways, it is somthing to consider. Hope it helps and good luck.

Turning signals, flashers not working

You can use a pointed nosed pliers (or similar) to remove fuses..... The rain would not effect the turn signals unless you had a water leak into the flasher unit itself !
The A/C has to be fully charged to blow cold air and would not be on some days and then off the next. the refrigident gas would not change because of weather conditions. .........
A simple test lamp will indicate which fuse is functioning or otherwise without removal of same ! Good luck

Factory fitted air conditioning will not cool. 1994 csi sedan

if the ac does not blow cold air 90% of the time the system is low on means that you have a leak in the system. but if you want to check fuses check all of them with a test light.and make sure the light comes on on both side of the fuse.

The air conditioning, the blower fan everything stopped working, on 2002 Nissan Sentra. Does anyone have any suggestions?

One suggestion. Have you checked the fuses ?

I would check the AC or blower fuse to start with. If you have the drivers manual it will show you where the fuse box is. Typically there are at least two boxes to check. One in the Engine compartment and one in the passenger cabin.

Look inside the lid of the fuse box to see which fuse may apply to the AC circuits or the blower and check to see if they are blow. the metal link between the two posts that plug in. If the link is missing you need to replace the fuse with one of the same rating. Make sure you know where you took the fuse out from and put it back in the same slot if its good. Check all the main fuses if possible to see if any have blown and replace if they have.
