I would run straight up synthetic. It would require you to use it for the duration of the time you have the car, but you engine is designed just for synthetic. You'll get the most benefit from both if you use it. Try high end Amsoil, I know it's costly, but not as much as a ring job does.

Driving manual for Toyota Vitz model 2000 fully automatic

The name "Toyota Vitz" has been used consistently in Japan, with most international markets receiving the same vehicle under the Toyota Yaris name, or formerly as the Toyota Echo in some markets for the first generation.

Then, I just could send this link:
- 2000 - 2002 Toyota Echo Service Manual (Pass: pdftown.com )
- 2007 Toyota Yaris Factory Repair Manuals

Good luck (remember to rate this answer).

Maintenance required light

I just tried this and it worked!
I got it from this site:
http://lifeisafairytale.wordpress.com/2007/08/21/yaris-and-the-maintenance-required-light/

  1. open car door
  2. put key in ignition
  3. keep door open while turning key to “ON” position (not starting the car, just ‘ON’)
  4. turn the odometer to “TRIP A”
  5. hold down the odometer reset button and quickly turn the car to ‘OFF’
  6. now wait 5-10 seconds and turn the car back to “ON” while STILL holding down the button
  7. a few ——- (dashes) should appear and a countdown will begin and it will reset itself.
  8. now your light is off and you can start your car!
