At the base of the seat down were the floor meets the seat check to see if there are 2 bolts one on either side of the seat about in the area of wear you would sit(not in the center or outer edge of seat)by the floor.if so remove the bolts and lift the seat up and out.if not the in the same area were the bolts would be push down on the forward part of seat and lift outwards away from the rear of the car a bit and the seat lock should release the seat and lift up and remove.the backrest of the seat should be bolted to the the steel framing of the car then lift the seat back straight up and off the hooks.

1997 geo metro will not start and blower to heater, radio and blinkers dont work.everthing else seems to work

check your Fuel Pump fuse. and all other fuses.
Should be about where left knee is (maybe a little to left of left knee) when sitting in drivers seat (under dash).

There is another one with all the big fuses under hood on driver's side next to fender .

1997 Geo Metro rear door won't open!

I have the same car, same problem. I've still not been able to fix it, despite taking the inside panels off the rear doors, checking the rods were seated, applying WD-40 to the lock mechanisms, and manually working the mechanism. Child locks are not engaged, but I tried putting them on and off too. Just won't open.

1995 GEO METRO BLOWER MOTER REPLACE

Yes, the speed control resistor is a possible culprit. There are other possibilities though. The motor itself might be wearing out. Bearings could be going bad and binding, or the motor itself could be. Usually when a speed control resistor goes, the particular speed setting that portion controls goes out completely, not just slows down. Most automotive blower motors have an independent resistor coil for each speed that you can select. If one of them goes, you lose that speed and keep the others. If you replace the resistor and continue to have a problem, you might want to remove the motor assembly completely and have it bench tested.
