P0700-This Relates to MIL"Malfunction Indicator Lamp")( Request - Control System for Transmission
unable to locate description for P1776,can you get all systems scanned for codes again as 0700 just indicates that a fault has occurred that has lit the check light and logged at the ECU.
Obviously it will be related to the shift fault, maybe a speed sensor or a dirty fluid fault.
Get back to me with any extra info.

How can I fix my 2004 Dodge Stratus w ith Fault code P0700

Dodge is quirky about voltage, and transmission(DC-PO700) shift selonoids are electronically controlled actuators and your PO622 Diagnostic Code is usually found with voltage irregularity such Wave,Ripple,or square voltage issues(indications that your about to have alternator or battery failure..I would try a new battery and have my alternator checked if codes persist. Best Wishes & Happy Motoring!

p0700 description
The transaxle Control Module (TCM) monitors the malfunction of sensors and actuators relating to transaxle control. When the TCM detects a malfunction with the control, a signal is send to the Engine Control Module (ECM) to trigger the Engine Light or Service Engine Soon light. The ECM stores the P0700 code and it means the TCM detected a malfunction with the transaxle controls.

Engine code p0700, p0871 and p0760

The P0700 means Transmission Control System (MIL Request)
The P0760 means Shift Solenoid "C"
The P0871 means Transmission Fluid Pressure Sensor/Switch "C" Circuit Range/Performance.

Code 700

P0700 is telling you the Transmission Control Module (TCM) has detected a fault in the transmission control system and has stored a code relative to the fault. You will have to find a scanner capable of reading transmission codes to determine the code. A typical scanner won't read TCM codes.

P0700 just tells you that there is a transmission fault code stored in the Transmission control module, you must now have that tested by the dealer.

I have a 2004 chrysler concorde. i got three code readings does anyone know what they are? they are p0700, p0871 and p0306

P0306 indicates misfire #6 cylinder detected
P0700 indicates a problem with the transmission or controller
P0871 indicates a problem with the transmission overdrive

2001 cavalier codes

P0621 - indicates a failure in the alternator lamp curcuit.
P0304 - indicates a miss fire was detected in the #4 cylinder
U1040 - indicates a loss of communication with the ABS system
U1000 - Indicates a class 2 communication loss

None of those codes are relating to a transmission failure (P0700-P0702)

I would have a visual look at the transmission and verify that all electrical wires are connected and tight. Then I would have the transmission serviced if it hasn't been within the last 35,000 miles.

Have the trouble codes cleared and address the ones that return.

After that you may be looking at an internal transmission adjustment and/or repair.

Good luck.
