The fuse is located in the fuse panel that is under the dash on the drivers side, some have a cover over them that will need removing to get access to the fuses.check the fuses with a test light(all fuses)you may have more than one fuse gone bad.there is no circuit breaker.also you may have a bad blower motor resister located in the air box near the blower motor itself.

99 alero heater fan doesnt work

Start by checking your fuses and circuit breakers. If they are OK, look for broken wires or a melted connector at the blower motor under the hood. It could be that the motor it self is bad. Check the ground circuit for the blower motor at the blower motor connector (usually 2 wires.) If the ground is good, then turn the blower on, and check for 12 volts at the blower motor connector. If you have power to the motor, but it doesn't work, then it's bad.

Heater blower does not work on 1992 Buick Park Avenue

Hit the blower motor with a hammer handle and see if it starts, if it does replace the blower motor, if it doesn't replace the blower motor resistor located next to the blower motor in the air ducting with the connector sticking out of the air ducting

Location for blower motor/heater/fan fuse?

Before you rip, check the 30A HEATER CIRCUIT BREAKER in the instrument panel fuse panel. The input is hot with the engine running. CB output connects directly to the heater blower motor. A cluster of heater blower motor resistors determines blower speed as selected by the blower switch in the heater control assembly. The switch setting is sent to the powertrain control module (PCM) which acts to turn the blower motor on at the selected speed.

My Blower motor for my heater on a 99 ford escort is not working. Is it the motor or resister that is gone??the fuses look ok where is the resister located can you send a diagram

look in passenger foot well on blower case for 4 wire connector.

Behind right side of I/P, A/C-heater plenum

resister bad would still allow high speed. may be blower motor.

  • The blower motor does not operate/does not operate correctly
  • Open fuse.
  • Tripped circuit breaker.
  • Circuitry open/shorted.
  • Heater blower motor switch (18578).
  • Heater blower motor switch resistor (18591).
  • Blower motor relay.
  • Blower motor.

Heater blower does not blow,i can heard the relay trying to work.

then the blower motor must be bad. has to be tested for power at blower motor before replacing.unplug motor and turn on inside cab and test for voltage at motor plug if there is power motor is bad.

Heater blower stopped running. does the heater fuse/circuit breaker affect this?

yes most likely the problem, however i had the fan motor
go, and the fan switch go. start with the fuse then, motor. you can test motor by supplying power straight
after you unhook it using a 12v battery. You best bet is
to buy a manual at a local wall mart or canadian tire for
about 29.95 which will let you repair just about anything.

Heater/ A/c blower wont work circuit breaker wont reset

If the circuit breaker trips as soon as you reset it, then you have a dead short somewhere. It can be in the wiring or the blower motor may be bad. Another possibility is a shorted blower motor speed control or blower motor resistor pack.

Motor heater not working on low and sometimes on high

Blower/Heater Switch Operation: 0900823d8004c694.jpgThis electrical switch, located in a fuse or breaker protected circuit, controls the rpm of the blower motor through a series of control relays and a rheostat. Sometimes the A/C compressor clutch is energized by this switch.
