I dont think you should do this type of job unless you are a tech, major engine damage can occur if any adjustment of the gears are off, i will send you a few diagrams of what needs to be done to do a timing belt on one of these, i have done many and i still triple check everything to avoid damage to motor, the front bumper asm, needs to be removed, the radiator and ac condensor removed the ac system drained out and much more.if you would like to tackle this a will help you just let me know, hope this helps good days

SOME GOOD ADVICE TO BACK YARD MECAHICS.UNLESS YOU R A TRAINED MECHANIC WITH ACCESS TO TECH INFO, DONT EVEN THINK OF DOING UR TIMING BELT CHANGE ON EURO CARS. THEY R COMPLEX, YOU MUST KNOW CORRECT ALIGHNMENT PROCEDURES,TORQUE SPECS,& USE THE CORRECT TOOLS, OTHERWISE YOU WILL WISH YOU NEVER WENT THERE WHEN U CRANK UR MOTOR OVER & FIND ITS DAMAGED. THEY R WHAT U CALL A NON CLEARANCE ENGINE WHICH MEANS IF U GET THE CAM & CRANK TIMING OUT BY JUST ONE TOOTH, VALVES WILL BE BENT & THE POSSIBILITY OF DAMAGING UR PISTON TOPS WHEN THE TOP OF THE PISTON SMASHES INTO A VALVE JAMMED OPEN.WHEN U CHANGE A TIMING BELT,U ALSO REPLACE THE TENSIONER & OR IDLER PULLIES, CAM,CRANK SEALS & HIGHLY RECOMMENDED REPLACING THE WATER PUMP.ALSO ALOT OF EURO CARS DONT HAVE LOCATORS FOR T.D.C.NO 1 FIRING ON CAM & CRANK SHAFTS. THE ENGINE MUST FIRST BE PUT IN T.D.C. NUMBER 1 CYLINDER FIRING., THEN LOCK THE CAM & CRANK SHAFTS INTO POSTION, FAILING TO DO THIS , WHEN U UNDO THE CAM & CRANK BOLTS U WILL HAVE TROUBLE GETTING TRUE T.D.C. AGAIN, & WHEN UR TALKING ABOUT CAM & CRANK TIMING UR EITHER SPOT ON OR NOT.GOOD LUCK TRYING TO FIND IT WITHOUT PROPER TOOLS. GETTING THE NUMBER ONE CRANK/PISTON & CAM/VALVE TO TRUE T.D.C. IS A DANGEROUS RISK.LOOK SOME TIMES PEOPLE TRY & SAVE MONEY & THATS OK,BUT IN THIS INSTANT U MIGHT END UP WITH GREAT EXPENSE REPAIRING A DAMAGED ENGINE & A HOLE IN UR BACK POCKET.
