It sounds like the engine is badly worn. Compression is likely blowing down past worn piston rings creating excessive pressure in the crankcase which then blows out the breather tube. Solution is a used or remanufactured engine.

I agree, but I think I would checkthe PCV system before jumping into replacing the engine - I have seen Dodge trucks do this because of bad PCV valves.

If it has a road draft tube I don't believe it has a PCV system at least if it's original

hat's got to be a REALLY old truck if it is not equipped with a PCV. All gasoline powered vehicles sold in the US have had PCV systems since the late 1950's. You must be talking about vehicles not sold in the US or something...I guess I just assumed since it said "Dodge".

I may have been wrong when I assumed the reference in the original note to the breather tube was the same as the road draft tube. I've been around this business for long time so that's what my mind went to. Maybe he had something else in mind.

How does the 1999 Tahoe tailgate open?

The right side can be unlocked with the key, once opened, the left side can be opened. Mine, the left side requires me to push in slightly while ensuring the release handle is pulled to it's furthest point before it will unlatch. If the electrical contacts at the door frame are dirty, the door may not unlock when pushing the button up front thus requiring the key to be used in the rear door. If this is not the solution, the latch rods inside the door need adjusted which requires some mechanical expertise.

A Bronco tailgate comes off the same as a regular pickup truck. Open the tailgate and remove the cables from both sides. Lift up the passenger side of the tailgate and then slide the driver side towards the passenger side.

Tow truck driver used tools to open right passenger door on my 2002 honda crv. now the only window that works is the drivers side windows--windows are electric

Well this is the reason why tow truck drivers are supposed to open a vehicle from the passenger side. Because sometimes when you put a tool in the door you might snag a wire and pull it loose from the connection. If this happened on the drivers side it would make it a lot more difficult to get in and out of your vehicle.
Now if the company that did this is local take it back to them and they will take off the door panel and fix the issue. If this was done under a roadside assistance policy and you have difficulties with the tow company then just get hold of your roadside assistance company and handle it through customer assistance.
they hold the company's purse string and it will get taken care of.
Hope you find this helpful.
Hopefully this happened recently because nobody like to have someone come back a year after it happened asking for something to be fixed.

06 Silverado tailgate stuck closed

You should be able to get in between the fender and tailgate with a long screwdriver or piece of flat metal and push the catch back into the tailgate. Then pull the handle to release the other side and the gate should open. Hope this helps.

I just took my 2004 chrysler sebring for a routine oil change, and they asked me How old the timing belt was? The car seems to be running fine right now. Is this routine maintence or should I be concerned?...

Yes, it is a routine maintence to have it checked, if it's cracked or worn, it needs replacing, it will break without warning, and you won't be going anywhere, only by towing.

Transmission stopped working and a big puddle of tranny fluid

Is it a Auto or a Manual if auto then check the breather pipe on the side of the box and you might find its the problem But its no good just filling it up as there must be a reason why its blowing out oil as it must be either driven like a racing driver or the pressure in g/box is to high and that could be the forward pump slipping bands.
If Manual then a oil seal is most likely the problem
yes worty doing.. Have a goodday

Tailgate latch will not pull the rods far enough to open the tailgate?

it most likely seems to be the handle bracket the rods are attached to are froze. a lot of penetrating oil such as PB blaster needs to be applied. work the handle several times. it may take several applications to get it free enough to open if you have access to the back side of the handle channel lock the two brackets till it opens remove the handle and work it free. In most cases the repair wont last too long. I get a lot of tailgate handles I have to replace because of the oxidation between the two metal brackets joined togather
