If your other inside lights are working fine, I would suggest checking the bulb. Sounds like it could be burnt out to me.

Unable to put Jeep Liberty in gear. The shifter moves however it moves way to easily. I've removed the center console, did a visual inspection, and nothing looks out of the ordinary. Where should I start...

Have you checked the shift linkage at the transmission to make sure it is moving with the shifter?

Make sure the shift cable is attached to the transmission shift lever.

If the linkage does not move when the shifter is moved, the cable may be broken and need replacement.

My 2002 Jeep Liberty reverse lights are not working,I put in new fuses and bulbs, what could be the problem?

Remove console shifter housing check connectors for good clean connection...If all are clean and connected apply emergency brake start vehicle and put in reverse...with voltmeter or a good test light check wiring at reverse light switch for power and or voltage...normally they will wear loose from normal shifting but if no power replace switch....If it seems like too much work involved you have to take to dealer where they will scan it and find it could just be a bad ground at connection.

Transmission is stuck in gear drive. The transmission lever no matter what gear you put it, is still in drive.

block the wheels and look under the jeep on the side of the transmission where the link is while someone plays with the shifter. does the cable and mechanism seem to move ? if not, the shifter cable is probably broken and will have to be changed. if it moves, your problem lies in the transmission.

Unable to remove key from ignition on a 2006 Jeep Liberty Sport. Turns on, starts, runs and turns off just fine...just can't get the key out.

shift interlock cable may be out adjustment or have to fcenter floor console around shifter..disconnect cable and move manually and see if key will come out..check cable attachment at shifter..there is an adjustment on this cable..pull up on lock on cable at shifter
