If the filter is near the pump, the fuel pump generally is in the tank, it is electric. My bet would be that the filter is somewhere in the undercarriage, easily accessible, in the fuel lines. You will have to follow the fuel lines coming out of the tank to the motor compartment. if it is not anywhere there, check the firewall, taht is a common chrysler placement for a fuel filter

Fuel Filter Location

I called the dealer and the dealer said it does not have an in-line fuel filter, but there is one the fuel tank (actually, it is a fuel pump strainer part#FS233 for $10.oo).
Put the rear seats down and open the trunk for ventilation and open the gas cap for gasoline pressure release.
The fuel pump cover is right behind the rear car seats in the trunk.
Be very careful when messing with gasoline. I will be replacing the strainer this weekend, but I plan to siphon out the gasoline before I do (I just feel safer with the tank empty)

Fuel filter for a toyota corolla

Follow the gasoline fuel line from the engine to the bottom of your car, either at right side or left side .

Usually the fuel filter is underneath the driver side, the manufacture use ¼” or 5/16” rubber hose to connect to the metal pipe.

When you change the fuel filter, shot off the engine. Watch out the gasoline get into your eyes.

Good luck
