Question about 2006 BMW 3 Series
This is due to a dead battery, the problem is getting into the car to connect jumper cables to try and start the car, alot of these cars are all eclectronic controllled and the key fob is what controls door locks and starting but with a dead battery it cant communicate with computer, if the doors are locked and theres no lock on the door to unlock it then you will need to have AAA unlock it with a tool that goes inside to release lock and then gain acess to battery and replace it or jump it, and go from there, it may just be a bad battery or something was left on like a light but most of these cars have an anti drain module which will shut power down if something is left on until the engine is started. good luck and hope this helps.
