There are three solutions to this problem. 1. Remove the fibreglass backing completely. Remove all screws, etc., and carefully remove through the left hand passenger side door (on RH drive cars) and visa versa. Buy a used backing from breakers. Instal. 2. With backing out of car, remove all traces of foam padding from lining and backing. This has to be done properly or the next step won't work. Buy +- 3m of padded material from upholstery suppliers and +- 1L of contact adhesive. Apply contact adhesive to both sides of material, wait for it to become tacky and stick down. Let stand for about 6hours. Now cut apertures for mirror and grab handles, etc., and instal. 3. With backing out of car, slowly peel off lining without tearing, remove all traces of foam padding. Apply contact adhesive to both cleaned lining and backing as evenly as possible. Remove the metal frames by bending the lips back. Wait about 30 minutes and, with backing in a VERTICAL position, starting with the mirror aperture at the top, slowly contact the lining to the backing. You might want to get assistance here. Work your way down slowly. Don't worry too much if there are minor creases. With a mild hairdrier they can be removed after about 24hours. Obviously you want as few creases as possible. Try to line up the apertures as close as possible. Instal the metal frames. Your lining can now be re-installed. It won't be as soft as the original but it won't sag!

1996 Ford Thunderbird - What is this sagging cable?

It is your e-brake cable. e-brakes are mechanical, not hydraulic, therefore it has nothing to do with your master cylinder. adjust the cable at the e-brake itself or re-hang the cable to its rightful resting place.

2001 Navigator rear suspension sagging. While

It sounds like one of your air bags could have blown. I would check them first. I would also suggest checking into a replacement non air conversion kit from Strutmasters. I replaced the air system on my 2002 Navigator and saved a lot of time, money and headaches. The lines on my navigator had holes in them and I replaced the compressor twice before I realized it. Very costly. Avoid all the hassle and check out Strutmasters.

The front door hinges are sagging how do I change them

I believe your hinge pins are worn. The only fix is to replace the hinges or the hinge pins. Neither is a pretty job.

Car wont start.ran good until thurs.no fuel pressure

most likely the electric fuel pump inside the gas tank has failed, u will need to remove the gas tank from the car to replace this pump, this is a very difficult job on the ground, u will need a high quality floor hydraulic floor jack and 4 safety stands as well as a Ford fuel line removal tool and a good set of hand tools, let me know if you intend to replace this yourself and will give more detailed instructions.

Did Ford replace Au headlining under warranty years ago for sag related issues

No... I worked with these models for quite a period of time, and I have never seen one sag. It makes me think that either at one stage it has got wet, or was removed for some reason and not been reinstalled properly.

I have sagging fron doors how do i fix this, is it just the pins?

this is not easy. You have to replace the guide bushings on the hinges which involves removing the door from vehicle. You also have to buy the tool that compresses the spring in the door jamb. My advice, pay the money to a shop, it is well worth it.

Rear Air Suspension is sagging on my 99' Lincoln Navigator

I realize this is a very late post, but it may help others searching for the same problem. I found the relay on the RH side between the bumper and healdlight. I unplugged the connection, cleaned it real well and plugged it back in and everything works great. Definately want to try this prior to buying a compressor or relay. Very common problem do to it's position under the vehicle in the elements.
