Question about Ford Explorer Sport
Yes, the tool can be purchased from a local auto partrs store (in most stores). There is usually a metal safety clip that needs to be removed. The best thing to do is to spray a little mild penetrating oil near the end of the line. Relieve the fuel presure by disconnecting the inertia switch then running the car until it stalls or find the schrader valve on the fuel rail and relieve the pressure into a shop rag or small cup. Please wear safety glasses since the fuel system may still hold pressure. Turn the line on the filter to free the retaining spring, then push the line torward the filter. Install the tool and push into line. With tool installed, pull the line off of the filter. If there's any reason you can't vote 4 thunmbs up, please ask for more information. Thanks and good luck!
