My trunk sticks out on the left side where as the rght side is even

jack up front end of vehicle just enough so the tire is off the ground,put ur hands in the 12'oclock and 6 o'clock position left ontop inside of tire rght hand on lower part of tire outside pull in and out if wheel moves back and forth then its the bearing,if wheel has not loose check other side..if both are fine check left and right cv joints and axles,Might be worn out

I have a 2012 Azera and had the same trunk lock problem -- there is a security cutout switch located in the top center of the glove box opening which can be tripped if the glove box contents stick up over the lip of the opening. This switch disables the truck release on the dash and on the remote fob. On earlier Azera's the switch is located on the left side of the glovebox opening.

There is a block behind the washer bottle on the left under the hood and another block in the trunk on the left side.

first check the bulbs make sure you have the right ones in the rght place if thats ok you have a bad ground wire to that tail light

I was able to pull the left side passenger seat forward enough to get my arm behind it into the opening to the trunk. This is difficult to explain so you may need to borrow your friends corolla to see what I am talking about. if your reach back into the trunk and feel upwards you will feel some half dollar sized holes. one of those holes has the release latch cable in it. If you stick your finger up there and pull towards you, the seat will release and you will be able to climb into the trunk to open it via the glow in the dark emergency release handle. Like I said you may want to check out someone elses corolla to get a better idea of what I am talking about.

may be just the drivers side door switch if they come on normally and the roof light stays on to

check for a loose wire connection on the side indicated you may also remove bulbs and clean light sockets

I have a 2003 bmw 325i, the locksmith came to unlock the trunk and couldn't even get that with his pick and everything. We tried everything and eventually we solved the puzzle by taking out the rear speakers and that will leave a whole big enough to stick your hand down into the trunk and not cause any harm to your car!!!!!

The pull down on a 05 is in the trunk. There is 2 loops on the underside of the upper trunk body drivers side. Pull loop and push seat forward from trunk until it releases. Left side loop is for left side half of seat and right is for right.
