Cam and crank signals don't match. Does it still run ok? Timing belt is suspect.

Holding water in the front back and trunk how do i get rid of the water in my 1998 plymouth neon

If I'm reading your complaint correctly, the real problem is "how is the water getting there in the first place"?Start by inspecting the weather stripping around the doors and trunk for splits/cracks/missing sections and replace as neccesary. Most vehicles have drain plugs in the floors.accessing them will require pulling up the carpet.Good luck.

If your check engine light is coming on, then there should be a trouble code stored in your computer to tell you what area to look in for problem. Run into an autozone, or Pep Boys & get a free scan and see what they say comes up for codes & then if not obvious what the problem is, get back to us & we'll help you out.

My neon is showing a dtc code 1390, timing belt has skipped one or more teeth. Checked the timing marks and everything is as it should be, should I condemn the cam sensor, or the crankshaft sensor? Or is...

P1390 means cam/crank not in time. Probably slipped a tooth on the cam belt (Installed wrong most likely, easy to do) or, just a chance, cam timing sensor is bad. Take it apart and look ,if you bought the car this way you may have wrong or damaged timing gear, stick shift or automatic may have different shape where the sensor rides,
