My air condition on my 1998 Ford Explorer stop blowing out of my dashboard vents

Possible that the fuse has blown of the blower motor, the blower motor has failed or the switch has failed.
If the blower unit has not been removed for cleaning for a long time, it is now needed to be done.
Once you find the voltage to the blower absent the line can be traced or else the blower motor has failed.

My ford explorer 1997 V6 4.0L my truck start but unless i press the gas but as soon as i stop giving gas the truck stop i got told i need to change my alternator because i just changed the blower motor and...

doesnt make sense, you went from giving gas to keep running ,to switching blower motor,Heater blower motor i assume? to replace alternatoer? i'm lost, blower motor has nothing to do with the motor running or not. the alternator charges the battery in which you need power to run the electronics for ignition. make sure battery has full charge. now maybe your fuel shut off switch has triped.( located on passenger side firewall inside trk. remove lower side panel and you will see a black box with a button on it it should be pressed in if it is not then no fuel is getting to engine.press and attempt to start.

1998 ford contour blower motor not working

I have a 1998 Ford Contour. Believe it or not the ABS and the Blower Motor share the same fuse. It's a yellow 60 amp and you have to take off the battery to get at it. Of course this happened twice in the 6 years I had the car, both times in the dead of winter. Tires Plus in Pennsauken, NJ replaced it. Other than that, no complaints with my Contour.
