Check alternator with a multimeter engine with running you should have 13-14.5 volts anything less means alternator is bad.

Main fuse keeps blowing

you need to say exactly which fuse. or at the least how many amps it is. (and what BOX)??????
my wild guess, is
1: its in the engine bay box, right?
2: and its a big one,,, right?
so if that fuse connects to the Alterator, (look close) then the alternator is shorted. its an 80amp fuse. that. aka; fuse #15

here is the free FSM
its all there

2: the Alternator is bad.
3: the corroded, battery lug deal, (service skipped)\
just 3, there are more.

Does a 1996 honda accord lx 2.2 have a fuseable link ? My daughter in laws car has a new alternator and battery ,but when we take the battery cable off it still dies and it still is draing battery ,checked...

Hi,
Info should be in Owner's Manual or need to go to dealer.
Here's what it looks like:
PIC

Also, a bad alternator can drain the battery - yes, even w/the car off.

97 honda accord lx keeps dying and won't stay on. I replaced the battery, alternator and starter. It turned on but just stayed on till it drained the battery. what could it be?

have someone turn the key while you listen for the fuel pump to come on in the fuel tank. it should only come on for a few seconds if not than your fuel pump is bad.

Where is the brain box in a 92honda accord lx ? My honda keeps dying while driving then wont start till after ot sits for a while answers?

Your engine computer 'brain box' is located under the carpet on the front passenger's side floorboard. If the car keeps dying it's probably the main relay or distributor is bad, not the computer.

The starter on my Honda Accord 1996 keeps running without the keys inside

you either have a shorted relay , or ignition, this condition will eventually burn out your starter, so disconnect the battery ,, neg side first ,, until you locate the problem, if you look under the hood you will see a relay/fuse box,, look for the relay thats for the starter,, you probably have another one thats the same inside that box, switch it with a different one, then see if the problem is corrected once you hook the battery back up, if so, replace the bad relay, and your set to go, if it doesn't,, your ignition is shot, replace it

Check for a fuel pump fuse in the cabin or under the hood!
These fuses or relays as they are sometimes called usually look like 2 inch black square boxes!
