It's just to the right of the throttle body. Follow the air cleaner hose, from the air cleaner. Goes from the air cleaner up to near the firewall, then turns right and into the throttle body. On top of the upper intake manifold is the MAP sensor. Probably the easies sensor to replace on the entire engine. Just inplug and replace.

DTC P0069: Manifold Absolute Pressure-Barometric Pressure Correlation

Circuit/System Description
The BARO sensor has a 5-volt reference circuit, a low reference circuit, and a signal circuit. The control module supplies 5 volts to the BARO sensor on a 5-volt reference circuit, and provides a ground on a low reference circuit. The BARO sensor provides a voltage signal to the control module on a signal circuit relative to the ambient pressure changes.
The manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor has a 5-volt reference circuit, a low reference circuit, and a signal circuit. The control module supplies 5 volts to the MAP sensor on a 5-volt reference circuit, and provides a ground on a low reference circuit. The MAP sensor provides a voltage signal to the control module on a signal circuit relative to the intake manifold pressure changes. The control module compares the BARO sensor to the MAP sensor in order to monitor the BARO sensor operation.

DTC C0899 : Device Voltage Low

Circuit/System Description
The electronic brake control module (EBCM) monitors the ignition voltage level available for system operation. A low voltage condition prevents the system from operating properly.

Circuit/System Testing
Measure the voltage at the battery terminals.
? If less than 12 volts, charge and test the battery.
With a scan tool, read the ignition voltage in the EBCM data list. Verify that battery terminal voltage and ignition voltage readings do not differ more than 1 volt.
? If the difference is more than 1 volt, test the ground circuit of the EBCM for high resistance or replace the EBCM.
If OK, test the charging system.

I have a 2005 gmc envoy xl 2ith inline 6 motoer. It keeps telling me p0105 mass absolute pressure sensor is bad but i got a new one and that did not fix problem. Could it be the pigtail wires? They look...

What did you use to read this code with ? No P0105 code for this vehicle .
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DTC P0106
The manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor responds to pressure changes in the intake manifold. The pressure changes occur based on the engine load. The MAP sensor has the following circuits:
• A 5-volt reference circuit
• A low reference circuit
• A MAP sensor signal circuit

The powertrain control module (PCM) supplies 5 volts to the MAP sensor on the 5-volt reference circuit. The PCM also provides a ground on the low reference circuit. The MAP sensor provides a signal to the PCM on the MAP sensor signal circuit which is relative to the pressure changes in the manifold. The PCM should detect a low signal voltage at a low MAP, such as during an idle or a deceleration. The PCM should detect a high signal voltage at a high MAP, such as the ignition is ON, with the engine OFF, or at a wide-open throttle (WOT). The MAP sensor is also used in order to determine the barometric pressure (BARO). This occurs when the ignition switch is turned ON, with the engine OFF. The BARO reading may also be updated whenever the engine is operated at WOT. The PCM monitors the MAP sensor signal for voltage outside of the normal range.
The PCM calculates a predicted value for the MAP sensor based on throttle position (TP) and engine speed. The PCM then compares the predicted value to the actual MAP sensor signal. If the PCM detects that the MAP sensor signal is not within the predicted range, DTC P0106 sets.

Inspect for the following conditions:
• Disconnected, damaged, or incorrectly routed vacuum hoses
• Missing or damaged manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor seal
• Restrictions in the MAP sensor vacuum source
• Intake manifold vacuum leaks
Did you find and correct the condition?

This code does not tell U the MAP sensor is bad , do yourself a favor an take it to a qualified repair shop.

I have a 2003 S-type jaguar that goes into a limp mode and stops running then the engine system fault shows ,the parkbrake fault and DSC not available also shows. Diagnostic showed codes PO121,P1582??

code p 0121 is associated with the throttle position sensor and accelerator position sensor
causes are from cable adjustment --throttle position and accelerator position sensors
code p0533 refers to ac refrigerant pressure sensor--high input== causes --ac pressure too high (cooling fault -condenser fan not running at radiator-- too much gas --pressure sensor
p 0105 refers to map sensor / barometric pressure sensor --circuit malfunction===causes wiring--- map sensor --baro sensor ECM
code p0566 refers to cruise control master switch== causes --control switch , ---ECM
code p1582 refers to electronic throttle monitor data available which will be associated with the p 0121 code and faults
