SOURCE: Battery for 1997 Mazda 323 Astina 5dr hatch

It's fine to use a battery with a higher cold crank rating than original. Consider the rating in the manual to be a minimum requirement. You'll be fine as long as the physical dimensions and terminal placement are compatible with your car. The battery manufacturer's guide should tell you which battery fits your car.

It looks incorrect clutch adjustment, first inside the car depress the clutch pedal by hand and see if there is a free play moor then 10 mm, if so , slacken the locknut at the cable end in engine compartment, now turn the adjustment nut until the distance from the release lever to the roller on the cable is about 3mm, tighten the locknut after adjustmen

Cannot find spark plugs in 2003 323 1.8 litre mazda astina

If you follow the wires to the top of the engine from the distributor, they are under the boots when you remove them. Plugs are about 4-6" down inside. f2c5d262-e131-42d7-8496-0946d38b78c6.jpg

323 astina lack of power automatic

Hm, this happened in my Camry (yes, a different car, but...), and it was failure of the 1-2 shift solenoid in the tranny. This meant it could not find low gears, and felt sluggish, like yours. That component is almost universal in autos, so have it checked out.

When does is rev high and low? If it does this at idle check for a vacuum leak or maybe a blocked airflow

Idle problem on v6 ba astina hunts from 1000/1500 revs

Engine stall or RPM fluctuates at idle.

This problem is commonly caused by a dirty automatic idle speed control valve and throttle valve. Buy a can of throttle valve cleaner (do not use carburetor spray cleaner!) from NAPA or Carquest (made by CRC chemicals) and spray it into the air intake while the engine is running, use up about 1/2 the can, engine will try to stall hold the speed up, shut it down and let it soak for 30 minutes, restart and blow out the remaining fluid, shut it down and disconnect the negative battery cable for 5 Min's to reset the base idle control

It is very doubtful the ECU is the problem, how did you come up with this diagnosis? And yes they rebuild them. You can get one by number off old one here. www.rockauto.com

Low idle problem

simply just tighten up the accelerator cable so that on idle it hits 750rpm or slightly more 800rpm if your engine condition isn't that good.
