Very possible ur vacuum brake booster is going bad.wat ur hearing is the vacuum from engine leaking past seals and into ur driver compartment through the brake pedal pushrod.replacing ur booster will fix this. a master cylinder may also b required to change so u dont void ur warranty on new or reman brake booster.

Sounds like you either have a hydraulic leak or air in your braking system.

have it serviced. It may just need to be bled or you may have a bad brake line.

Why my2004 Cadallic cts brake lights wont work or shift out of park?TC lig

A failed brake light switch or brake light circuit fuse will cause BOTH problems. Start by verifying that the fuse is OK, then proceed with replacing the brake light switch if the fuse was not at issue.

2004 cts bake lights will not come on just setting car has to be on is that a bad bake switch and car is stuck in park

most modern cars (and trucks, too!) have a safety system that prevents someone from shifting out of park if the brakes are not pressed (it helps keep small children from moving the car out of park), check the switch(es) on the brake pedal to see if A) it (they) are getting power, and B) that the power is going thru to the brake lights/ brake interrupt solenoid.

I HAVE A MANUEL 2003 CTS.WHILE DRIVING THE CLUTCH WENT DOWN LIKE A 1/4 WAYS TO FLOOR FEELS REAL WEAK.I KNOW ITS HYDRALIC .FEELS LIKE THERES AIR IN THE LINE .LIKE IT NEEDS BLEEDING LIKE...

Unfortunately, it sounds like your pressure plate is going bad. That is the larger part in the following picture. When you depress the clutch pedal it pushes the throw out bearing (the smallest round part) against those center "feelers" and that disconnects the clutch (the next size down round plate) from your engine flywheel.

Normally you would replace all three parts at the same time.

2003 Cadillac CTS - the car won't shift from park if you start it and don't have your foot on the brake. Also, the traction control warning light is always on, and the over-hood brake light works, but the...

sounds like you have a bad brkae light switch, which is located on the brake pedal assembly. a bad switch will not let you shift out of park and you will not have any brake lights as the car does not recognize that the pedal is being pushed and brakes engaged. easy to replace switch if you are handy, if not this is a inexpensive repair at any mechanic. hope this was helpful is so please rate 4 thumbs.

Trying find my throttle position sensor on my 2003 cts cadallic. where is it located. Is it in front or rear of the engine.

Looking at the intake right where it goes into the manifold you will see where the linkage connects to the throttle. If you still cant make it out have someone rev the engine and watch it move. Right behind there on the same axis as the throttle is the position sensor. You should easily see the connector coming out of it.
