This is mostl likely due to warped brake rotors in the front and possibly in the rear as well. The rotors will either need to be resurfaced or replaced. I would recommend taking it to a shop soon, though this problem is more of an annoyance than a safety concern. Rotors warp when they end up getting too hot either by constantly stopping hard and fast or by 'riding' the brakes meaning that the brakes are lightly applied for long periods of time.

Hi my 04 honda odyssey absolute ivtec vibrates between 50 an 99ks an vibrates when sitting at lights is that a major problem? thank you cheers.

Not really. Could be slow tick over, dirty or badly gapped plugs, dirty injectors, bad fuel amongst others. Could also be sensors. You need a tune up.

Will a13in 4-100 rim off a honda fit on a 2005 hyundai accent

The bolt pattern may be the same (Hyundai accent uses 4 x 100 bolt pattern) but the wheel centre bore size and wheel offset are likely to be different. There may also be brake clearance issues. The only effective way to deal with this is to check some of the basic wheel specs and then do a test fit on the car. If the wheel's centre bore size is too small for the Hyundai hub you won't even need to do a test fit as the wheel cannot be used.

1. Center Bore

If the Honda wheel has the same or a larger centre bore size then they will fit on the hub but if larger you will need hub rings to fill the gap between the centre bore and the hub. If you do not fit the hub centric rings you will get vibrations (like an out of balance wheel gives you) as the wheel will not be properly centred on the hub.

If the Honda wheel has a smaller centre bore then it will not fit over the Hyundai hub and you cannot use it.

2. Brake Caliper Clearance

Manufacturers design their stock wheels to clear the size of brake calipers they use but sometimes these clearances are very small.

The Honda wheel may or may not clear the brake calipers when you bolt it on, (which is primarily a factor of both wheel and brake design), and in that event you cannot use it.

3. Offset

The Honda and Hyundai stock wheels will have different offsets.

If the Honda wheel has a much higher offset measurement it may not have sufficient clearance on the inside of the wheel well because the higher offsets places the wheel rim further inside the wheel well.

If the Honda wheel has a much lower offset, this places the wheel rim further to the outside of the vehicle. This is less of an issue unless the tires hit the guards when you get a great deal of suspension movement or the tyres extend out beyond the guards which is illegal.

My car vibrate at 100-120km/hr i have bought new tires and done the wheel balncing but it still vibrate and whenever i tried to apply the break at this speed it vibrate serously. it's a 2001 mazda mpv

This is due to poor settings of the wheel bearings,tyres,- check balancing once again, wheel drums/ brake pads,suspension , joints and steering.
In all the entire front suspension must be checked, the WHELL ALIGNMENT must be checked with precision and each of the wheels must be checked for damage on hub, axle or chassis.

My 2006 Honda Fit shudders whenever I drive off

Hope this would be of help to anyone facing judder or sudden vibration (in quick succession) whenever you accellerate (pick up):

Bought my Honda City/ Fit Aria Year 2005 Vtec brand new and drove for 7 years;
I experienced the above said problem in 2010, changed a set of 4 brand new original Honda (Made in Thailand) plug coils (please refer attached picture) and the problem came back after just 18 months.
Again I had them replaced but this time I bought used ones from "half-cuts" car yard (those junkyards that deal with half cut cars like half Front part & half Rear part of any cars) because those half cut Honda City/Fit Aria's engines are from Japan and the coils that I salvaged are of BETTER Longer Lasting Quality !

Important Note: VTEC Engine - Plug Coils X4 pieces;
: I-DSI Engine - Plug Coils X8 pieces.

From where I came from its Quite Expensive when I replaced the brand new Thai-made coils....almost USD300.00 inclusive labor but those USED ones only set me back by less than USD115.00 all in. I-DSI owners have to fork-out DOUBLE due to 8 spark plugs in their engines !!

1997 Audi A4 Brake Vibration

the only thing i can think of as a problem would be brake pad quality. i would get some from the dealer and fit them. if there is chatter going on it can also be caused by low quality rotors or a bad maching job. have them inspected for integrity.

I have an 04 Honda Odyssey. I feel a mild

If you have vibration in your steering wheel, I would have your CV joints checked out or it might be your front wheel bearings. The vibration coming from those two problems would get a little more intense as your speed increases. Are your tires in good shape? Did it vibrate before you got your brakes done?
