If your not familiar with automotive electrical work i would take it to a shop as you can easily make more problems by just poking around. But if the fan doesnt work at all i would suspect the blower motor itself or maybe the switch (big maybe). if you only have certain speeds i would replace the blower motor resistor (common problem).

Both front and rear heater fans don't work, mechanic says it is an ignition switch?

Both "blower" fuses are fed by the ignition switch. If there is no power to those fuses than the switch is the likely problem.

99 kia sportage will not start and wipers, power windows, and heater fan don't work either

In the engine compartment fuse/relay box, check the 40A IGN fuse. If it is blown, the items you mentioned will not work. Replacing the fuse should clear up the trouble and you'll be able to start

My heaters on my q7 are not working the speed goes up to 12 but fan does not kick in, i think its the heater motor, but i dont no where this is located and how to get to it. If anyone can help. Thank

It's either a relay or the blower motor as you mention.. It's behind the glovebox right behind the firewall as part of a sealed hvac assembly. If you don't know how to find it, you should not attempt to fix it... It's a pain.. To the shop with it

The ac and heater blower only works once in a while on my 2004 seabring

It is a rather simple fix and don't let the repair place charge you too much, There is a switch that controls the fan speed which allows you to have the fan on 1234 positions. Cost of the part and labor should be no more than $100

Heater takes a long time to heat up

When you select A/C or Heater, there is a door (vent air flow change) that open and close when making these selections.

Heater fan don`t work and the fuse is good

you need to check your wiring to the motor and ascertain if you have a positive and negative feed to your motor to see if your motor is ok, see if you can put a feed directly to the motor to prove it, if the motor runs you have a wiring problem elsewhere

1995 Subaru Impreza wagon - heater fan

Mine use to work on high only. It was the switch cylinders, something like that. It was an easy fix. Now my blower motor works intermittently. If I kick it, it turns back on. It is located on the passenger side close to the door side directly above your feet (below the jockey box). Kick straight up. If you need to replace it it is also an easy do-it-yourself repair. Make sure before you go out and replace your blower motor that you check your switch. A lot of repair shops will replace the motor w/o checking the switch, you end up paying for 2 repairs. You can make sure it's not the switch by jumping (bypassing) the switch. You apply jumper wires (not cables) directly to the motor, if the motor turns on you know it's the switch.
