Question about 1994 Plymouth Grand Voyager
Your question was
Hi, I have a 1992 Plymouth Voyager that's been having transmission problems. It won't shift into second when it's hot. It shifts fine cold. It can drive down the highway for hours, but as soon as it drives in town, it won't shift into second. Once it cools down, it's good again.
The mechanic has put in a Transmission control module, and EETX relay, a solonoid pack and input speed sensor and an output speed sensor.
These kinds of problems are common on the dodge mini vans, I think you will need to overhaul the trans, it has an internal fluid leak, one other thing to check is the electrical connector to the trans, make sure it is tight and has no corrosion or fluid in it, a poor connector connection can also cause these kinds of issues hot.
