Question about 1989 Isuzu Trooper
Just had this similiar issue happen to me, check the wireing harness that hooks up to the fuel pump, mine was lose. I just zip tied it together tighter and it works fine now.
Of course that was after I bought a new fuel pump...and installed it...
lol whatever now I have a new fuel pump at least

Try the fuel pump solenoid on the back of the fuel iv had this problem b4 and its easy fix i think there was a wire *** of the back off the pump
