There is a fuse for the air bags (one for each side) so check there first-your particular problems sounds like the connector is not fully inserted into the pod, so remove it (they are easy to take apart, remove the bottom cover to the dash (at drover's knees, 2 screws) then remove the trim to get to the screws that hold the pod in-the back of the pod is a printed circuit board, it might have moisture (it is a jeep, afterall)-the only other possibility is the clockspring in the steering column is broken, but that does not explain the instrament cluster-check fuses before you remove the pod.

My 1999 Jeep wrangler Horn is not working the airbag light is on and the back up light are not working. all fuses are good

Hello, I believe you may have a broken clock spring which is located in your steering wheel. Mine did this some time ago and I had it replaced. I am pretty skilled at repair work but I left this to the stealership/mechanic incase they accidentally deploy the airbag in the process of fixing it their money not mine. Good luck and let me know if I am correct or if I can offer any other help.

Gauges

There's a defect with them. I have a 1999 and the gauges and dash lights will go off and a "no bus" message will appear where the Odometer displays. If I push on both sides of the Dash they will come back. It seems to be a Ground Problem. I don't know how to fix it yet, however I was told for about $400.00 the Dash can be removed and the problem repaired by the Dealer.
