How do you turn on the heated mirrors

They are suppose to be automatic on the cars I know about. When the temperature drops to freezing, the heaters start working.

Heated Mirror on Passenger Side needs to be replaced. Mirror Part #91039AG02A. All mechanical features work, mirror is just cracked. How to install?

There should be a plug for the heater element. I think a new replacement comes with it, I am unsure. But just remove the old glass by using a screwdriver, wrapped in tape if you want, to pry it from the clips. The clips will release it, then unplug the heater element wire that is in the mirror. Plug the new mirror heater element, install mirror, it snaps into place, just give it a little pressure to make sure it is seated in the clips correctly.

That type of part is usually only available from a dealer or auto body shop. You can also try a junk scrap yard and they might have your part discounted.

Drivers mirror will not work

First you can take the triangle shaped plastic off from inside behind the mirror if you know what I mean .. and there are three nuts take them off and DONT drop them .. unplug the mirror and see if you have power from your switch coming out to the mirror or the heater with a tester ... this might save you alot of problems and its simple. You might be able to just unplug the mirror with out unbolting it from the door and test the wires from there. look it over .. thanks Jerry
