Question about 1999 Saturn SL
I've removed the outer ring that has the Start/Acc positions printed on it & the plastic casing surrounding the steering wheel. How do I get the key cylinder out?
Disconnect the battery, of course. Turn the key to the ON or RUN position. There is a detent that you need to push to release the lock cylinder. There is a tool made for this. It's a thin flat metal blade. If your vehicle is equiped with anti-theft, you will need to reprogram it through your body control module, using a scan tool, before your car will start.
